The market in used safes was at one time robust and reasonable savings could be made. However, in recent years safes of foreign manufacture built to a European standard have been introduced.

Competitive pricing, along with lower weights, meaning less delivery charges, has made them an attractive buy. These are extremely competitive in the lower rated safe range and for most people these safes are a good choice, especially for the home market. This standard is acceptable to most insurers and as a result a decline in the used or second-hand safe market resulted.

However, good savings can still be made for larger or higher rated safes, especially for the commercial safe market. All used safes are available to us in a rolling stock of some 350 safes or cabinets all refurbished to its relevant British Standard. Delivery and on site fitting are also available, so you won't have the inconvenience of having to arrange this yourself.
