What is the range, in feet, that an outdoor motion detector can detect motion?
These are my questions, please refer to the number when answering. Thanks.
1. What is the maximum range of outdoor motion detectors that are attached to lights?
2. Can a motion detector detect motion through glass? So, if the motion detector is on the side of the house and pointed downwards, but the neighbors sliding window is in the way, would it detect the motion through the glass?
3. How sensitive is the detector at it's maximum distance? If the max is say, 35 feet, does the detector loss some of it's ability to detect as it gets to 35 feet?Thanks.
The farther the distance the less sensitive it will be. It should point down at the ground at like a 45 degree angle.
