ppl keep stopping front of my stable??? taking pix?
i have seen several crappy looking cars stopping in front of my barn. i have seen them take pictures of my horse, a 29 yo grey gelding. i have electric fencing. i am terrified of having him stolen. there have been about 8 ppl stopping in our dead end road, (we're at the middle) looking at my horse, and taking pictures, and feeding him stuff. he is friendly, but he does not like men. i have electric signs up, and no trespassing signs, they don't work.
what can i do? every time i go out the front door of the house, the ppl see me and leave, only to come back again later. my neighbor has them on video these ppl in my field. i don't want them there. i have followed them in my truck twice. they say they weren't there. that is why i set up the camera over at my neighbors houses. they are motion activated hunters camerasPeople who do not own horses are always very enchanted with them and drawn over to them. If it is the same car I would be suspicious. Other than that you probably have a nice looking boy. Be careful about the fence because people could press charges if they get shocked by the fence, you would be surprised how thick people can be. I had a guest grab our elec. fence once... that was "shocking". Take down your admirers license plate and put in a complaint for trespassing with your local police. Also try putting up some no trespassing signs on the edges of your property on the road. Good idea with the cameras, try to get some proof they keep doing it.
