How to remove the flash hider from a JG M4 S-System?
I am trying to remove the stock flash hider from my JG M4 S-System. I want to replace it with mock suppressor (which DOES have an orange end).
I removed the small allen key screw from the bottom of the flash hider, but there is another little black thing on on of the sides which I can't remove. I have tried to rotate the flash hider in every direction, but I just can't get it off.

JTKHey, I've heard of that problem bunches of times. I have a lot of friend's that have the same gun 2008 and 2009 versions. If you have already tried using tools or by any way of twisting off the flash hider and it wont come off, then it might have been glued on which happens by JG. I have the recently new JG AUG A3 with the same problem.
What you have to do from what I was told by other experienced airsofters is to first boil water at a reasonably high temperature and at a certain point when you believe it is fair; you have to dip the entire flash hider for I believe 5 minutes so the glue can melt, when that's over, give it a minute or two to cool. Then apply a lot of pressure when you begin to twist the stock flash hider, don't nudge it off because there is threading on the outside barrel needed to screw on your mock suppressor. Hope that helped.
One more thing I would like to add, whether the mock suppressor is short or long, an extended internal barrel is recommended. You should buy a much better and longer barrel for more precision accuracy and range. If you put the mock silencer with the stock inner barrel, you will lose only accuracy. That is because the bb travels as far as the barrel goes before the mock silencer in a tight space but since there is no further continuing inner barrel to follow through the mock silencer, the bb starts to bounce around thus accuracy is lost.
