When it comes to storing money inside a safe the cash rating
is a good indication of the maximum amount that should be
stored inside. The cash rating is what an insurance underwriter
will insure the cash stored in a safe for (multiply by ten
for jewellery).
Always check with your insurance company before buying
a safe as their ratings may be higher or lower than the
ones Burton state, correct safe installation is also another
factor in determining cash ratings.
